Wednesday Morning ~~ Gracias JOseph ~ I for one recognize that you are doing a great historical service for us all
Gracias are always nice, but this effort is about the community. It is about us knowing we come from a great historical past. It is about us being able to raise our heads and be proud because we know our history when others know very little of their own. So again, Gracias are nice, but helping me find someone that knows some aspect of our history that can help me produce another podcast for the community would be much preferred. I don't want the NFU podcast project to be thought of as the Joseph Puentes project. Maybe 100 years from now they can do a podcast on me because then I'll be historical, but now I just want a site full of our history in a format that we can just take with us and listen to in the car or while exercising or any of a number of other times that would be considered wasted time. Camarada Peta. . .who do you know that possesses our history? Tell me their names. Tell me how to contact them. Tell me more names.

At the same time it is maybe time for the "De Todos Para Todos" blog to start including some audio along with the written word. Note I said "maybe" well there has never been a better time for those of us with a message to get that message out to the people. There are many many people out there that will read your words and get the "message." But there are also a lot of people like myself that learn better from the "audio" word. I would encourage you to "seek" through your blog audience for those that might step forward to say what is on their minds. I want to make you this promise. All you need to concentrate about is the "message" let me worry and concern myself about the technology. Now I'm not saying I'm a know it all, but I think I know enough to get you started. You find the messenger and I'll work on making it available to the world.

Que piensas?

and that we should hang up our hang ups about direct participation as sharing is caring. Also, time is sacred but I will try to spread the 'palabra' as I can. I would probably use the term 'command' but as a soldado' of La Raza I can accept good commands! P.S. I am a contributor to > De Todos Para Todos http://detodos-paratodos.blogspot.com/ Blog Email: blogparatodos.ramona@blogger.com Plus, I can post a blog direct therein which I will do soon about this new group as time permits. For that reason I left the word out of the description of the Nuestra Familia Unida podcast project. Genealogy is a subset of History and felt I was not slighting anyone in the genealogy camp by doing this. Well with some files on genealogy scattered around the website I thought I should at least create a section for the genealogical materials, which I did. Have a look at the new genealogy section of the Nuestra Familia Unida podcast:
http://NuestraFamiliaUnida.com/podcast/genealogy.html
There are a lot of talented and knowledgeable folks that are receiving this notice that I could almost "beg" to step forward and produce content for this section. If you have a genealogical message within your understanding that could benefit the community I would ask, say, tell, command (well that's going a little overboard), plead with you to bring this light out from under your bushel basket and help those of us that need this understanding. Don't feel you have to have a Ph.D. or be some kind of authority to contribute. A small contribution here and there will add up to a section of this podcast project that will help many. Be part of it.

Venceremos Camarda Joseph ~ I just got on here. It is almost midnight. Demcoracy Now! starts in a bit.

Zapatista Nancy turned me onto this 'cool blog', then, later Cesar invited me to be a Contributor.

I want to learn from you. The more I know the more I am aware of how utterly ignorant I am.

I will help you any way I can within the limits of my time, energy and resources. Si Se Puede!

I am experimenting with this Comment as I can blog direct to the post from within the Blog.

Your font on yours was small in part and had different font sizes to me.

Some things are better offblog.

Venceremos ~ Peta

Compas,

I'm very happy to be part of a sharing virtual team with you.

As far as the audio proposal goes: Let's do it! In fact, we in LA are working on including some videos also. Some compas have some nice clips about the march in LA and the walkouts, and we'll be posting them soon.

The easiest way of doing it is: 1) upload the audio anywhere you can (that can be publicly accessed from the Internet) 2) Place a link within the blog.

We might have an auto upload mechanism in the near future (blogger doesn't provide it, so we'll have to develop it ourselves.)

Other plans for the blog are:

a) shared directory where we can say what we do and where so we can connect with others in our area or that do the same things we do.

b) we have to classify our postings to make them more accessible, but blogger doesn't provide that either, so we'll have to develop our own mechanism as well.

c) dynamic links, so we all can add and mantain them collectively (like the calendar --a work in progress...)

Saludos muy otros,
cesar
