A Calling to Parents, Teachers, Staff and Community Supporters of Academia Semillas Del Pueblo

WHAT: ACTION-TAKE A STAND AGAINST HATE SPEECH Targeting Academia Semillas Del Pueblo & the COMMUNITY.

Please join us on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 to take a stand in support of our school, and against the practice of "Hate Radio" at the official government FCC Public Hearing.

Also be part of our Letter Writing Campaign to the FCC.

Our presence at the September 3rd FCC meeting was crucial in getting our voices heard and had a significant impact on curbing the language and tone used against us on radio station KABC.

HOW: We are once again asking for your support in two ways:

1) Send a complaint letter to the FCC (click here to download the Electronic Complaint Form), and send your confirmation number to support@dignidad.org or call (323) 860-6525 so when we make our presence on Oct. 3rd, the FCC will have heard our voice. Please have 1 or all your friends, colleagues send this letter and notify us of their confirmation number.

WHERE: The FCC will hold official government public hearings on Media Ownership in Los Angeles as part of their "town-hall" style meetings in the area.
