What is the EZLN?
What is the situation in the Zapatista indigenous communities today?
Mexican journalist Gloria Muñoz Ramírez presents the English translation of her book: The Fire and the Word: a history of the EZLN, which she wrote after several years of living in the Zapatista communities.
Subcomandante Marcos said of the book: “It is the most complete version of the public history of the Zapatistas.”
A video will precede and a conversation will follow her presentation and update on the current situation of the Zapatista indigenous communities in Chiapas.
