La digna rabia de l@s joven@s de El Sereno Middle School

When students were let out of school for summer vacation this past year the youth from the El Sereno middle school Chicana & Chicano Student Heritage Club chose to protest the illegal occupation of Iraq, the Migra Raids, and Torture. While most youth spent their summer at pool parties, shopping malls, movies and taking advantage of the longer days-gracias a Tonatiuh-the youth from El Sereno middle school dedicated their Friday evenings demonstrating their digna rabia! http://la.indymedia.org/news/2008/07/219085.php

On Friday at 5pm on the corner of Eastern & Huntington Drive in El Sereno they will unite their digna rabia with the world, el otro mundo, that chooses break the silence that permits the siege of Gaza to continue. In the matter of just two weeks over a thousand children, women, men and elders have been slaughtered by the state of Israel’s horrific acts of genocide and obliteration of the Palestinian people.
