ICE raid tonight and Rally for Justice tomorrow!!

There was a report of an ICE raid that took place in Santa Clarita in Ventura County.

About 15 people were detained and taken in for questioning. This is just one more example
of how the Department of Homeland Security intends to terrorize immigrants and
communities in general by striking in the shadows and creating a sense of uncertainty and
fear among hard-working people. This is a sign of things to come eventhough the
immigration debate is dying down on Capitol Hill. Our communities need to be made aware
of these brutal actions that result in nothing but destroyed families and violated human
rights. People in support of civil and human rights must begin to communicate and organize
their efforts to stop this madness. Michael Chertoff, director of Homeland Security, has said
that the raids will not be going away. Now is the time to act. Call outs are being made in
Los Angeles tomorrow to denounce this injustice and the many acts of terrorism committed
by ICE. Show your presence and raise your voice tomorrow because our communities will
not be silenced. Fear is their biggest weapon but unity is ours!

PROTEST AGAINST THE RAIDS!!!
NO to raids and deportations.
NO to family separation.
YES to Legalization for all.
YES to full and equal rights for everyone.

During the last two weeks, we’ve had various raids in Southern California with hundreds of victims. If we stay quiet about them, they will continue. Only by coming out onto the streets and protesting these raids can we pressure our government into stopping these raids. In other cities in this country there are various examples showing that if we respond against the raids, we not only stop them, but we can also use our response as a way to organize the massive power that we have into a movement that will not stop until we get full legalization for all. Join us.
