It was decided by The Other Baja California (Adherents to The Other Campaign from Mexicali, Tijuana, Ensenada, and San Quintin) and by brothers and sisters from in the US (Adherents from San Diego and Los Angeles) that on Friday, May 19, an action of demonstration would take place simultaniously in each region to support the heroic brothers and sisters of San Salvador Atenco, Mexico.

In San Salvador Atenco, authorities resorted to using violent represion actions against the flower vendors
in an effort to kick them out of the area, so that a Wall-Mart could be built on that sight. The authorities are so represive, that two people were assasinated; one being a 14 year old boy who was targetted and killed by a sniper. The men that were arrested were brutally beaten and tortured; The women who were incarcerated were raped and forced to perform sexual acts.

And Fox does nothing, Nor does the PAN, Nor does the PRI, Nor does the PRD

We demand justice for the People of Atenco

As an act of solidarity with the flower vendors of San Salvador Atenco, we are asking that people bring flowers to construct an alter of flowers.

We demand:

Freedom to the political prisoners
Justice for the women of Atenco
Justice for those assasinated
The disclosure of those that are disappeared
Wall-Mart out of Atenco


We are asking those that don't live in a region where a demonstration will happen, to organize a demonstration in your area on the 19th of May.
